The AmpSurf 2026 event season has been amazing! As we wrap up another great year, we are already preparing for an exciting 2027 season and more opportunities to share the healing power of the ocean and adaptive surfing.

MISSION

AmpSurf is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established to Promote, Inspire, Educate, and Rehabilitate (PIER) people with disabilities, Veterans, First Responders, and their families through adaptive surfing and other outdoor activities.

WHO WE SUPPORT

AmpSurf believes people should be encouraged to focus on their abilities, not their disabilities. Our programs welcome Veterans, First Responders, adults, and children with a wide range of physical, developmental, cognitive, neurological, sensory, and other disabilities. Through adaptive surf clinics, VetSurf programs, lessons, and other outdoor activities, we create opportunities for participants to experience the physical, mental, and social benefits of surfing and the ocean.

HOW WE DO IT

Since 2003, AmpSurf has brought participants, trained instructors, volunteers, families, and communities together through adaptive surfing programs and events. Our goal is to provide safe, welcoming, and inclusive opportunities where participants can build confidence, learn new skills, connect with others, and experience the joy of surfing.

PARA SURF LEAGUE

Para Surf League, or PSL, is a division of AmpSurf dedicated to the development and promotion of competitive adaptive and para surfing.

MISSION

Para Surf League works to Promote, Inspire, Educate, and Rehabilitate (PIER) adaptive and para surfing athletes while supporting the continued development of competitive para surfing events around the world.

WHO WE SUPPORT

PSL supports adaptive and para surfing athletes, competitions, and organizations working to expand opportunities for athletes to compete and progress in the sport. Our goal is to help create competitive opportunities where adaptive athletes can develop their skills and compete at a world-class level.

HOW WE DO IT

AmpSurf has supported adaptive surfers and competitions ranging from regional and national events to international competition.

Para Surf League was created to provide a dedicated focus on athlete and competition development, while AmpSurf continues its broader mission of providing adaptive surfing and outdoor recreation opportunities for people with disabilities, Veterans, and First Responders.
