New Acropolis is an international non-profit organization founded in 1957 and present in over 50 countries worldwide.

New Acropolis has been active in the Chicagoland area since 2005, and we are currently located in the Ravenswood neighborhood.

We are a group of volunteers, dedicated to helping all people in the Chicagoland area to live more meaningful and thoughtful lives through classes in eastern and western philosophy, workshops, cultural events, and community service, among other things.

We offer free and donation-based classes, workshops, seminars, discussions and exercises in comparative philosophy and a variety of topics. We also promote cultural events and volunteering opportunities.
