Originally started as a small underground party in the mid-90s, Wax Trippin was resurfaced and brought anew by founder DJ Lex in Oakland, California in 2017. Over the following two years, Wax Trippin steadily grew to become the staple platform for independent Hip-Hop acts in the Bay Area. Since 2017, over 300 artists have been featured on the Wax Trippin stage. In 2020, the pandemic brought the live event, as well as, the entire industry to screeching halt. Now as 2021 comes to a close, the Wax Trippin returns to provide safe and one-of-a-kind live events once again.
