About the instructor:

Jen Kearney is an actively touring singer, songwriter, bandleader, and teacher with over 20 years of experience.  Jen hails from Boston Massachusetts in the United States where she cut her musical teeth as a teen in the illustrious Boston/New England music scene.  She attended UMASS Lowell as a music performance major. Jen has toured extensively across the US and UK having played shows at legendary London venues such as Ronnie Scott’s, The Roundhouse, Pizza Express and many other venues from the Southend to Newcastle. Her music has been featured here in the UK on Jazz Fm and the Craig Charles Funk and Soul show (BBC 6) as well as several stations in the US.  She has shared the stage with Maceo Parker, Los Lobos, Daryl Hall, Derek Trucks, Mavis Staples, John Mayall and the Blues Breakers.
