At the South Asian Student Association (SASA), we aim to showcase public health, infused with cultural aspects from across the South Asian countries. There is much to be learnt from innovation in resource poor settings which can be applied to developed countries. We hope to facilitate open dialogue through subject-area talks, movie/documentary screenings, workshops, and collaborations with other organizations. Additionally, we would like to bring the joy and vigor of South Asia to HSPH by celebrating a few prominent cultural and religious festivals like Diwali and Eid.
