Minnesota Huayue Music Ensemble (MHME) is a nonprofit (501(c)(3) organization to promote traditional Chinese culture through music.

The organization introduces traditional Chinese music and musical instruments to local communities. MHME is composed of the musicians proficient in Dulcimer (Yangqin), Flute, Hulusi, Erhu, Banhu, Gaohu, Jinghu, Yueqin ,Guzheng and Cello. They have perfectly demonstrated traditional Chinese music in different forms and combinations.

Artistic Goals and Missions The Minnesota Huayue Music Ensemble is dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich heritage of traditional Chinese music within the Twin Cities. Our primary artistic goal is to create a platform for authentic Chinese musical expressions while fostering an appreciation for cultural diversity. By performing traditional Chinese repertoire and contemporary compositions inspired by Chinese music, we aim to enhance the community's understanding of the artistic depth and cultural significance of Chinese music.
