Alport Syndrome Foundation is the leading independent non-profit organization in the U.S. educating and giving a voice to the Alport syndrome community of patients and families. Alport syndrome is a rare genetic kidney disease that causes a decline in kidney function, and can cause hearing loss and eye abnormalities. Our mission is to improve the lives of those affected by Alport syndrome through education, empowerment, advocacy and research. Our vision is to conquer Alport syndrome.
