Sheri Gaynor is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Registered Expressive Arts Therapist, and Eponaquest Advanced Instructor with nearly 38 years of experience supporting individuals, groups, and communities in their healing and creative lives.

She is the founder of Creative Awakenings International and the creator of the Equus heART program — a nature-based, therapeutically informed approach that weaves equine-facilitated experiential work with expressive arts to support personal transformation. She has been offering this work with clients and groups since 2013, including ten years of equine-facilitated sessions at WindWalkers, where she has served private clients, women in recovery, and grief circles in collaboration with Pathfinders Aspen.

She also mentors and coaches women nationwide, guiding them toward lives of greater authenticity, creativity, and courage. Sheri is also the author of Creative Awakenings: Envisioning the Life of Your Dreams Through Art (North Light Books, 2009) and the founder of the Creative Awakenings Expressive Arts Facilitator Training, offered since 2011.

Her work is grounded in the deep belief that healing happens in relationship — with ourselves, with each other, and with the natural world.
