We are a general-interest bookstore specializing in translated fiction, poetry, history, and literary nonfiction. We host (mostly free, non-ticketed) author events at Subtext Books (located in downtown St. Paul), at the University Club of Saint Paul, and at various non-profits. We love hosting events with local Midwestern writers, poets, and novelists. Our book events are for the community to meet fellow booklovers, authors, learn about the writing process, and support a local bookstore!
