UF/IFAS Extension Alachua County is a partnership between the Alachua County Board of County Commissioners, University of Florida/IFAS, and the United States Department of Agriculture.

 The mission of the University of Florida/Institute of Food and Agricultural Science (UF/IFAS) Extension is to provide scientifically based agricultural, human, and natural resource knowledge that citizens use in making informed decisions, which contribute to an improved quality of life in Alachua County.  The education offered by our County faculty and volunteers is based on current research from UF/IFAS.
