Lille Røde is a dynamic original indie-rock act with a distinctive sound, powerful live presence and a growing catalogue of original music.

Fronted by singer-songwriter and professional performer Anna Mountford, the band combines intelligent, character-driven songwriting with energetic, theatrical performances that leave a lasting impression.

Drawing on influences from indie rock and alt pop, with comparisons to Wolf Alice and Chappell Roan, Lille Røde’s songs explore relationships, heartbreak, identity, social issues and contemporary culture, delivered with honesty, humour and a strong sense of personality.

Anna brings extensive professional performance experience to the project, including work in London’s West End, giving Lille Røde a natural confidence and stage presence that extends beyond simply performing the songs. The Lille Røde four-piece band create a live show that is engaging, polished and visually compelling.

Lille Røde has already gained valuable exposure through radio, including BBC Introducing in the West, as well as performances across the South West including Lakefest and Landed and at established local venues, including Trowbridge Town Hall and The Thunderbolt, Bristol.

The band has just been chosen from over 125 local bands to take part in Bristol’s well known WENEEDBANDS BOTB’s competition, kicking off in Jan 2027.
