Overtown Arts
Overtown Arts is a community arts initiative based at Peach on 14th in Historic Overtown, Miami.
Overtown has always been a center of Black culture, art, and community in Miami. Overtown Arts exists to keep that legacy alive and to build what comes next, together with the people who call this neighborhood home.
Our programming brings people together to learn, create, remember, and celebrate:
Humanities Night: a monthly Thursday lecture series where local scholars, artists, and practitioners share their work and open it up for community dialogue
Conversations from Overtown: community talks and storytelling evenings rooted in the lives and history of the neighborhood
Overtown, STILL: a photography exhibition honoring the people and places of Overtown
Screenings, socials, and community gatherings: movie nights, altar ceremonies, and events made for connecting with your neighbors
Whether you grew up here, just moved in, or are visiting for the first time, there's a place for you here. Come learn something, share something, and be part of the story.
Programs held at Peach on 14th, 123 NW 14th Street, 2nd Floor, Miami, FL
