Low Carbon Marston
Low Carbon Marston (LCM) is an environmental group in Marston, Oxford, working towards building a sustainable, connected and resilient community, in light of the declared climate emergency. Our projects include support for residents to:
- Use renewable energy and improve energy efficiency
- Reduce use of single-use/disposable plastic
- Choose active transport
- Reduce environmental damage from litter/pollution
- Participate in the circular economy
- Reduce food waste and share free food with those who need it.
The main base is the Marston Eco Hub (at the Marston Vicarage, Elsfield Rd), and many LCM activities operate with the active support of Revd Skye Denno and volunteers from St Nicholas Church.
