About

Founded by NXT Art Foundation, a 501c 3 arts organization, LUMINEX is overseen by an Advisory Board who support the Curation, Production, Marketing and Fundraising so we can ensure that LUMINEX (Presents & Biennial Series) continue to thrive.

NXT Art Foundation has partnered with EARTH CALLING as a Production Partner, whose values embody Our Earth, Connectivity and Arts + Culture.

“Creativity, music, art and storytelling are catalysts for change. We transform creative expression into a powerful force for environmental advocacy. By uplifting diverse voices and cultural perspectives, we build a united, multicultural movement for the Earth." - Earth Calling

Key Partnerships include our longstanding relationship with PANASONIC CONNECT who believe that Art, and Technology are essential to our human experience.

LUMINEX has evolved into a cultural platform that fosters collaboration and expression at the intersection of Art + Technology + Nature, through creative experiences and activations. Our large-scale biennial exhibition will continue, alongside ongoing annual programming; artistic activations, public programs, panel discussions, and explorations, under the banner of LUMINEX PRESENTS.

This exciting update allows more projects to happen throughout the County, facilitating moments of discovery and inviting audiences to engage in meaningful dialogue about our relationship to one another, the natural world, and technology. LUMINEX removes traditional barriers to cultural participation and creates opportunities for people to encounter new ideas, artists, and perspectives that embody Art + Technology + Nature.

LUMINEX Presents

Throughout the year, LUMINEX PRESENTS activates this mission through exhibitions, panel discussions, experimental happenings and creative collaborations that build momentum toward our flagship LUMINEX exhibition.

LUMINEX Biennial Exhibition

LUMINEX is a premier, free outdoor exhibition platform that transforms the urban landscape into a walkable cultural destination through world-class art installations, and innovative technology in dialogue with nature.
