POPOZUDA SF is San Francisco's first monthly home for Baile Funk.

Every first Thursday at City Nights, we bring the sound of the baile — funk carioca, brega funk, montagem, tuim — to a Bay Area floor built for it. 18+, doors 10 PM, headliners who actually know the culture.

Produced by Just Entertainment, an event production company founded by Lucas Medeiros to build recurring nightlife experiences rooted in Brazilian music culture. Previous productions include Feijoada da Copa (2022 World Cup viewing series) and Resenha da Copa (2026 World Cup series at The Midway).

POPOZUDA isn't a Latin night. It isn't reggaeton. It's Baile Funk specifically — the genre that owns dancefloors from Rio to São Paulo, finally with a real home in SF.
