New Orleans Voodoo Baby Dolls

The New Orleans Voodoo Baby Dolls are an authentic and traditional Black Masking group dedicated to preserving, honoring, and carrying forward the historic Baby Doll masking tradition of New Orleans.

Rooted in the city's Black cultural traditions and the historic communities of Storyville, Baby Doll masking emerged in the early 20th century as a powerful form of self-expression, celebration, and community. Through elaborate costuming, dance, music, storytelling, and cultural education, we keep this living tradition visible while honoring the people and communities who came before us.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit cultural organization, the New Orleans Voodoo Baby Dolls are committed to cultural preservation, education, community engagement, and creating opportunities for future generations to experience and participate in this uniquely New Orleans tradition.
