I have been making tamales since I was 5 years old. I grew up in a traditional Mexican family where you given the privledge to sit at the table and make tamales with all of your Tios and Tias at a certain age. I remember watching them make tamales, and I could feel the joy and love it brought to the entire family because we were all together making memories. Later in life I went to culinary school and was in the restaurant business for 15 years. My true joy comes from teaching and creating food for people to enjoy. I hope to see you in my class soon.
