In 2016, Fort Wayne UNITED was launched as a mayoral initiative under the leadership of our late mayor, Tom Henry. Uniting two national efforts, Cities United and My Brother’s Keeper, under one umbrella, Fort Wayne UNITED was designed to:

• answer the call to enhance opportunities for the most vulnerable citizens of
• our community through advanced youth advocacy;
• create a safer city for those impacted most by violent crime;
• educate and empower leaders; and
• decrease violence while increasing hope in specific neighborhoods.

By bringing together a diverse group of passionate and committed leaders, the initiative educates, informs, and engages our community.
