Steve Long is a New York–based artist, curator, and organizer dedicated to creating adventurous live experiences centered on new, experimental, and improvised music. A lifelong New Yorker from Canarsie, Brooklyn, he brings together artists from across musical communities, blurring boundaries and creating connections between the many overlapping worlds of New York’s contemporary music scene.

His projects create space for musicians to take risks, forge unexpected collaborations, and explore ideas that resist easy categorization. Driven by curiosity, his programming places artists, sounds, and musical traditions in conversation, creating concerts where discovery is as important for the audience as it is for the performers.
