The Diaper Bank of Greater Cleveland (DBGC) is a diaper bank incorporated in the State of Ohio with a 501(c)(3) designation. Founded by native Cleveland resident Nakeisha Wells. Upon discovering that 1 in 2 families across the United States are experiencing diaper need and learning that diaper insecurity often leads to negative outcomes for children's overall health and cognitive abilities, she began to search for a diaper bank in the Cleveland area. In May of 2019, after discovering there were no diaper banks serving the Cleveland area, DBGC connected with the National Diaper Bank Network and began working diligently to make a diaper bank a reality for Cuyahoga County.
