Empowering Communities Through Clean Energy & Savings

Bonneville Environmental Foundation (BEF) is dedicated to building clean energy solutions that put community and equity first. Through our Sunward community solar program, we expand access to renewable energy for renters, homeowners, and income-qualified households who have historically been left out of traditional solar options.

What We Do:

• Community Solar Workshops: Hosting free sessions that break down how off-site solar credits lower monthly utility bills.
• Local Solar Access: Managing accessible, low-income benefiting solar projects like the Rebuilding Center community solar project in Portland.
• Direct Support: Providing tools, registration assistance, and free home energy-saving kits to help households save money on energy every month.
