Wine Country Bocce was founded by longtime Napa Valley local Cante Swearingen, whose passion for bocce spans more than 25 years. Born and raised in St. Helena, Cante is the founder of the legendary Hone Dogs bocce team and has helped introduce thousands of locals and visitors to one of Wine Country's favorite pastimes. His decades of experience in hospitality and competitive bocce have made him a respected ambassador for the game throughout Napa Valley.

Cante is joined by Faith Poirier, who has been involved in bocce for more than 20 years. A league player and tournament competitor, Faith combines her love of the game with a lifelong career in hospitality to create experiences that are welcoming, well-organized and memorable for guests of all skill levels.

Together, they created Wine Country Bocce to share the traditions, friendships and sense of community that have made bocce a beloved part of Napa Valley life. From winery events and corporate team building to private celebrations and visitor experiences, their goal is simple: help people connect, laugh and create lasting memories while learning to play like a local.
