ALMA Boston (Association of Latin American Musicians and Artists) is a nonprofit organization that grew out of the Latin American Music Festival, founded by acclaimed Mexican guitarist Zaira Meneses in 2018. What began as an annual celebration of Latin American music evolved into a year-round organization dedicated to supporting artists and strengthening communities through music, dance, education, and cultural exchange. ALMA Boston creates opportunities for both emerging and established artists while preserving Latin American traditions and fostering meaningful collaborations throughout New England.
