The Buttonbush Farm was shaped by years of research into nature-based societies, places where plants aren't an afterthought but a living infrastructure, tended across generations.

Today, Buttonbush is a native plant nursery, a participatory research farm, and a native meadow experience in development: three entry points into one idea; that the land can be restored, and that anyone can be part of it.

Our mission is to make native plant knowledge and ecosystems accessible; in the community and across generations. Our hope is for this to close the distance between people and the land they live on.
