Dr. LaTavia Turner-Williams
Welcome, Sisters!
My name is Dr. LaTavia Turner-Williams, and I am the founder of The Opening of Closed Doors, Inc., a local nonprofit in Newton County, GA. I am honored to welcome you into this space—a space created with love, healing, honesty, and sisterhood.
The purpose of this gathering is simple: to bring women together to have real conversations in a safe, judgment-free environment. Life isn't always easy, and none of us were meant to walk this journey alone. Here, we will encourage, uplift, and remind one another of the strength we possess.
It should never feel strange to tell another woman, "You are beautiful," or "I'm proud of you," or "You did an amazing job." We don't have to compete with one another. We can celebrate one another. We can choose encouragement over criticism, support over jealousy, and love over division.
This is more than a meeting—this is our space. A place where masks can come off, stories can be shared, healing can begin, and lives can be transformed.
Together, we'll have honest discussions about topics that affect us every day, including:
* Mental health
* Trauma and healing
* Relationships
* Loyalty
* The Sister Code
And many other conversations that help us grow into the women God created us to be.
No matter where you are in your journey, you belong here. You are seen. You are valued. You are enough.
I want every woman who enters this space to leave feeling stronger, encouraged, and knowing she has gained a community of sisters who genuinely care.
Remember this one thing:
I love you, Sister... and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it!
Welcome home.
