Root to Table is a Virginia-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit strengthening regional food systems through educational and philanthropic programming that increases economic opportunity for small-scale farmers and food producers — with a focused commitment to women, beginning farmers, and minority-owned agricultural enterprises.

 We prioritize beginning and small-acreage female farmers, many of whom are transitioning from other careers and entering agriculture without inherited land, generational wealth, or established distribution networks. Through immersive culinary events, storytelling platforms, and direct-to-consumer experiences, we expand their market access, professional visibility, and revenue potential.

Our work intentionally creates inclusive spaces where women producers are welcomed, respected, supported, and provided equitable access to opportunity.
