Rachel Benkowski
Rachel "Beerkowski" Benkowski is an Advanced Cicerone, beer educator, historian, and longtime craft beer professional dedicated to making beer approachable for everyone. Since 2018, she has been educating and serving guests in Arizona taprooms while helping people discover that beer is far more than just a beverage, it's history, science, agriculture, culture, and community in a glass.
With a background in history and archaeology, Rachel combines storytelling with sensory education to create engaging, hands-on classes that welcome everyone from first-time craft beer drinkers to seasoned enthusiasts. Her passion is helping people build confidence in tasting and talking about beer while exploring the ingredients, brewing techniques, traditions, and stories behind every pint.
Rachel is also the co-founder of Beer Babes Family, an international nonprofit supporting women in the beer industry, and has been recognized as one of Arizona's leading beer educators. Her mission is simple: make beer education fun, accessible, and unforgettable—because beer has always been for everyone.
