Established in 2016, Rising Rooted Yoga & Herbal Apothecary has become a hub of connection for our community in Southwest Virginia and beyond. Our mission is to provide access to plant medicine to enhance quality of life, with the deep understanding that spiritual and physical healing are intricately linked. For years, Rising Rooted has been dedicated to educating and empowering herbalists, families, and individuals.

Our Vision

The vision for Rising Rooted was born from the spirit of Conya. Her dream was to create a space where people could gather, share their experiences, and be met with empathy, consideration, and positive energy—hence our name!

As a healer from the rural southern community of Bedford, VA, Conya recognized the feeling of disconnection from ancestral medicines, nature, and oneself. She was determined to help individuals rekindle these vital connections.
