Beer Events PLUS is a side hustle for and the brainchild of Pat Lafferty. He has decades of experience in the beer industry, having held multiple positions at a variety of beer-centric establishments: from taproom beertender and brewery tour guide to homebrew retail store associate and owner-operator of The Malt Shoppe, a bottle shop/growler bar in Wauwatosa. When he goes on vacation, Pat visits breweries: from Seattle to Miami, from San Diego to Boston, from Brugge to Dubrovnik, and from Auckland to Tromsø, he's visited well over 350 breweries and logged nearly 5,000 unique beers on Untappd. Beer is his passion, and that passion shows in the events he hosts.
