For the last 25 years, Renee Rouger has been an event organizer, producer, and artist representative in New York City. She is the founder of New Baires Productions, ROUGERTANGO, and Milonga Falucho, and is currently the owner of Milonga Bailemos in Astoria. She is also the producer and creator, in collaboration with Dennis Cante and Tanya Spector, of The Big Apple Tango Weekend.

Back in her homeland of Argentina, Renee built an extensive career in show business as a dancer and actress. She trained with renowned teachers Olga Ferry and Noemí Cohelo, and graduated from the prestigious IF Institute in Buenos Aires.
