The ASCE National Capital Section (ASCE-NCS) serves more than 2,600 civil engineers, students, and industry professionals throughout Washington, DC, Northern Virginia, and portions of suburban Maryland. Our mission is to advance the civil engineering profession by connecting public agencies, consultants, contractors, educators, and future leaders through professional development, networking, technical programs, and community engagement.

Throughout the year, ASCE-NCS hosts section meetings, technical presentations, infrastructure leadership forums, networking events, student outreach programs, site tours, an annual awards gala, and a regional infrastructure summit.
