Black Joy Junk Journal Club
Donna and Kimsy are the founders of the Black Joy Junk Journal Club, a creative community rooted in connection, self-expression, and the celebration of Black joy.
What began as a shared love of junk journaling, crafting, and creative storytelling has grown into a welcoming space where Black women can gather, create, laugh, learn, and build meaningful connections. Whether you’re an experienced junk journaler, a scrapbook enthusiast, a paper crafter, or simply someone looking for a fun and fulfilling hobby, you’ll find a place here.
Our club encourages creativity as a form of self-care and reminds us that joy, rest, play, and artistic expression are worthy of our time and attention. We believe in creating spaces where Black women feel seen, inspired, and supported while exploring their creativity without pressure or perfection.
The Black Joy Junk Journal Club is open to everyone who values our mission, while intentionally centering the experiences, creativity, and joy of Black women.
Come create with us, build community, and make room for more Black joy—one page at a time.
