Becky Gibbs
I have been making art for as long as I can remember. I studied Sculpture and Mixed Media at the London Institute, developing a love for experimentation, materials, and creative expression that continues to shape my work today.
Over the past 17 years, I have worked in both secondary and primary schools teaching art, as well as supporting creative learning as an art technician. Today, I help shape art curriculums and create art content and guidance for teachers, supporting meaningful and engaging creative experiences in schools.
Alongside this work, I run art courses and workshops while continuing my own practice as an artist. I have a passion for painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, and exploring all forms of creative media, believing that creativity should be accessible, enjoyable, and inspiring for everyone.
I strongly believe that everyone is creative and that art has the power to enrich lives, build confidence, and create moments of joy and connection. I am passionate about sharing a love of art and creating opportunities for others to engage in creativity, discover new skills, and experience the wellbeing and fulfilment that making can bring.
Through teaching, workshops, and my own artistic practice, I hope to inspire people of all ages to embrace creativity and enjoy the many benefits it brings to everyday life.
