Sleuth Society Company and my husband technically share the same birthday.

The idea for this business started while planning his 30th birthday party. The murder mystery kit that was nearly 200 pages long. Halfway through printing, we literally ran out of ink.

The game was complicated, rigid, and more focused on endlessly hunting for clues than actually having fun together.

So I wrote my own.

I wanted a murder mystery experience that felt immersive, flexible, collaborative, and easy to host, one where guests could mingle, improvise, laugh, accuse each other dramatically, and play at their own pace without getting lost in complicated instructions.

After running a previously successful custom-order shop with wonderful reviews and customers everywhere from England to a garden society in Savannah, Georgia, I decided to relaunch Sleuth Society with a more sustainable vision: releasing a new themed mystery kit each month.

These kits are designed to be approachable, interactive, customizable, and fun for everything from girls’ nights and dinner parties to birthdays, date nights, and team-building events.
