A Loud Silence
About Your Host
Hi, I’m Gloria.
I come from a very different world — I work in accounting, where everything is structured, logical, and numbers make sense. For most of my life, that’s where I lived.
Before that, I also spent time working as a humanitarian in war zones. That experience shaped me deeply — not in a dramatic way, but in a very human one. It taught me how easily we lose connection to ourselves under pressure, and how important it is to find ways back to calm and steadiness.
I’m also a single mum to a young boy, and after going through divorce and a major mid-life reset around 40, I found myself starting again — not externally, but internally.
I began exploring what it means to actually slow down… and more importantly, what it means to listen to yourself when everything gets quiet.
That’s where sound healing came in.
What I Do Now
I’m not here as a guru or someone who has it all figured out. I’m still learning, still human, still navigating life like everyone else.
But I’ve found that sound has a way of helping us drop out of the noise — the mental noise, the emotional noise, the constant “doing” — and come back into the body.
In my sessions, I use Tibetan singing bowls to help create space for rest, reset, and simple presence. Nothing forced. Nothing you need to “achieve.”
Just time to pause.
My Approach
My style is simple:
- Less talking, more experiencing
- Grounded, calm, and accessible
- No need to “believe” in anything — just come as you are
Whether you’re burnt out, curious, overwhelmed, or just needing a break from life for an hour, you’re welcome here.
A Final Thought
I didn’t arrive here because life was perfectly aligned.
I arrived here because it wasn’t.
And maybe that’s what makes this space meaningful — it’s not about escaping life, but learning how to be with it a little more gently.
