Spooktacular Productions
Spooktacular Productions is a collaborative entertainment company created by three of Savannah's most distinctive local creators:
Captain Stoner Joe Layden, founder of Expeditions Savannah Inc. d.b.a. Spooky Savannah Ghost Tours, home of Savannah's Best Pub Crawl three years in a row.
Brigid Pitts, co-owner of Witching Hour Tours, storyteller, producer, and advocate for Savannah's magical and historic traditions.
Darcey Leonard, founder of the Tarot Society, psychic entertainer, stage producer, and one of Savannah's best-known mystical personalities.
Together, these three businesses joined forces to create a new kind of live entertainment experience—one that blends Savannah's haunted history, live music, burlesque, storytelling, folklore, tarot, comedy, and audience participation into unforgettable nights out.
Spooktacular Productions is proud to present Shades & Shenanigans, an immersive cabaret series featuring live musicians, burlesque performers, storytellers, and special guest artists in ever-changing themed productions. From fairy wedding feasts to haunted celebrations, each event is designed to bring Savannah's legendary nightlife and supernatural heritage to life.
In addition to stage productions, Spooktacular Productions develops unique ghostly experiences throughout the Savannah area, including themed bachelorette adventures, tarot brunches, dessert experiences, and collaborations with local venues, performers, and artists.
Our productions feature a rotating cast of talented musicians, burlesque performers, dancers, psychics, storytellers, and entertainers from across Savannah's vibrant arts community, creating experiences that are equal parts theater, celebration, and adventure.
