Hi! I'm Beth Christensen,

a ceramic artist with over 35 years of experience working with clay. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art with an emphasis in Ceramics from California State University, Chico, and have spent decades exploring both functional pottery and artistic expression.

I love creating beautiful, functional pieces that become part of everyday life, and my favorite part of teaching is helping others discover that they can create something they're truly proud of. Whether you've never touched clay before or have years of experience, my workshops are designed to be fun, relaxed, and welcoming to everyone.

When I'm not in my studio, I teach ceramics throughout the Las Vegas Valley and serve as Vice President of the Nevada Clay Guild, where I'm passionate about building a creative community and sharing the joy of working with clay.

During our workshop, I'll guide you through each step of the process—from shaping your piece to adding your own creative touches. After class, I'll professionally trim, glaze, and fire your pottery, and it will be ready for pickup in approximately three weeks.
