The All Black Runway Show
Emilio Alexander Farrell is a creative director, fashion stylist, and filmmaker from Long Beach, California. Raised within the rich cultural tapestry of a Black and Puerto Rican household, his work is deeply rooted in the African American artistic tradition.
As a 2025–2026 IDA Fellow, Emilio founded and creatively directed The All Black Runway Show, a landmark project that transforms the runway into a space of cultural celebration, artistic reclamation, and community, brought to life in partnership with the Black Creative Collective (Milo Golding, Jason Thompson, Tife Awoleye, Solange Sylvain, and Kenji Swanson).
The Black Creative Collective is an organization dedicated to fostering an interdisciplinary artistic community for Black students at Stanford. Across artistic mediums including film, music, fashion, and visual arts, the collective ensures that there's a space for lasting connections and an environment to create art representative of our rich cultural backgrounds.
