Silent Book Club's Sussex County Chapter is organized by Kirsten and Elise Brancheau, a mother-daughter team and lifelong readers. Kirsten has lived in Newton for nearly forty years; Elise grew up there and now lives in Bergen County. They share a habit of trading book recommendations across genres — literary fiction, historical fiction, mysteries, horror, and narrative nonfiction, to name a few — and started this chapter to build a wider community of readers in Sussex County.
