Dominique Hughes is a licensed art therapist, lead teaching artist, and founder of Zola Monroe Art Group, with over 20 years of experience in visual arts education and community-based programming.
Her work is rooted in the belief that creativity is a lifelong practice, one that builds confidence, fosters connection, and supports personal growth at every stage. Through structured, skill-building instruction, Dominique creates spaces where artists are challenged to develop their technique, explore their voice, and produce meaningful, high-quality work.
As the leader of Zola Monroe Art Group, she designs and delivers programs, exhibitions, and creative experiences that extend beyond recreational art, offering intentional, professional-level engagement for individuals and communities. Her Arts for Mature Adults program is a signature offering, supporting artists in continuing to grow, create, and express without limitation.
Dominique’s work continues to impact communities by redefining how art is experienced, taught, and valued, proving that creativity has no age and no limits.
