Mahj & Coffee is a modern American Mahjong community founded by Emily Pearlson, built around connection, confidence, and fun!

We host beginner-friendly Mahjong lessons, guided play experiences, social game nights, coffee meetups, and curated community events throughout Miami. Our mission is to make Mahjong approachable, welcoming, and exciting for everyone, whether you’re learning for the first time or looking to find your table and your people.

Mahj & Coffee follows the rules of the National Mah Jong League and is known for a more “purist” teaching style, helping players build a strong foundation and truly understand the game.
