Hi, I’m Erica!

My husband and I owed and operated EK Cakery for 7 years in Belvidere, Illinois until God blessed our life with a miracle baby boy in 2025. Since then I’ve been keeping busy mom-ing and pastry chef-ing with another bakery but still try to do cookie events in my community when I’m able to.

I love food, (especially pastries) and have a passion to share and teach all I know and have learned throughout the years with others. Food brings all types of people and communities together and it’s one of the many reasons I love it so much!
