Who Are We?

We're a monthly film discussion club focused on thrillers, noir, mysteries, and crime drama. These genres are our bread and butter, but we're game for any compelling cinema—whether it's a classic noir or something that defies easy categorization.

We dig into the full spectrum of these worlds too: neo-noir, erotic thrillers, tech-noir, acid noir, and retrofuturism. If it shares DNA with what we love, it's fair game.

How we meet

We gather once a month on Zoom. Each session has up to 12 active speakers diving deep into the film, with space for observers to join us. If you're new or prefer to listen first, we welcome that—there's no pressure to jump in immediately.

Observers can post questions in the chat, though we can't guarantee every question gets addressed (it depends on where the conversation is flowing). If you become a regular observer and want to contribute, we're happy to bring you into a trial run as a speaking member. It's a low-pressure way to test the waters.
