Mission Statement

The objective and purpose of the Boriquas Unidos En California, Inc. organization is to work together to raise awareness of the people of Puerto Rico and their culture.

Boriquas Unidos En California, Inc. would like to promote and accomplish for all Puerto Rican communities about their heritage.

The goals are as follows:

To raise the educational, economic, and social standards of the Puerto Ricans

To promote Puerto Rican cultural heritage and to educate Puerto Ricans and other Latinos about the Puerto Rican methods.

To develop community interest and concern for the problems that refer to the serious health issues and challenges faced by the people of Puerto Rico

To foster a continuous awareness for elimination of discrimination against Puerto Ricans.

To create attainable standard settings of quality educational goals, that can build relevant skills.

To educate the younger generation of the future about their Puerto Rico heritage and cultures.

To develop great relationships with other cultures and be able to be work harmony.

The more we educate other cultures about Puerto Ricans, the more they will understand our ways.
