East West Mahj is an intergenerational, multicultural, woman-owned business run by mother-in-law Imelda and daughter-in-law Devlin. Devlin is the primary teacher, trained to teach with Windy City Mahjong, holds a Master of Arts in Teaching Foreign Language, and brings 4 years of teaching experience. Imelda will be assisting and is a certified Mahji Mentor with Oh My Mahjong. The name "East West Mahj" represents the blend of our backgrounds: Imelda is originally from the Philippines and Devlin is from Rhode Island.
