Organized by LGBTQ+ tango dancers in the Washington, DC area, the DC Queer Tango Collective strives to create queer-centered spaces for learning and dancing social tango, for connecting and sharing with each other, and for building and nurturing our communities. All of our events are free of charge. In our spaces, we acknowledge, respect and celebrate the full rainbow of gender identity and expression, and we explore the joys of tango dancing without preconceptions about gender or gender-based roles.
