Takia Ross is the powerhouse founder behind Accessmatized Make-Up Artistry and KiKi Thunda Cosmetics, home of Pretty Mobile—the Baltimore DMV’s first mobile makeup studio. A champion of confidence, glamour, and entrepreneurship, Takia has built a career at the intersection of beauty, business, and bold self-expression, helping women show up polished, powerful, and paid.

Her impact extends beyond beauty through McCoy Row, her consulting, education, and access firm designed to equip entrepreneurs, youth, and organizations with the tools to build sustainable businesses and unlock funding opportunities. Housed within McCoy Row is her nationally recognized signature initiative, So You Want to Pitch — a pitch-readiness movement turned curriculum, coaching platform, and conference series that teaches founders how to plan, prepare, and confidently pitch for customers, capital, and collaborators. Through So You Want to Pitch, Takia has coached hundreds of entrepreneurs and helped ventures collectively secure over $1 million in funding, transforming ideas into investment-ready businesses.

Celebrated as one of Baltimore’s Top 25 Women to Watch and a Top 100 Minority Business Enterprise, Takia’s work has been featured in Forbes, The Baltimore Sun, The Daily Record, and more. She serves as the Mayor Appointed Co-Chair of the Youth Committee for Baltimore City Workforce Development Board where she spearheads initiatives and provides guidance around youth workforce development as well as sitting on Advisory Council for Johns Hopkins HopkinsLocal initiative where she advises on employment and procurement directives for the entire Johns Hopkins system.
