The Georgetown University Cybersecurity Society (GUCS) is a graduate student-led organization dedicated to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and engaged cybersecurity community at Georgetown University. Established in 2025, our organization’s mission is to empower graduate cybersecurity students by providing meaningful opportunities for mentorship, networking, and professional development. Through knowledge-sharing sessions, technical workshops, career development initiatives, and community-building activities, we aim to equip students with the skills, resources, and networks needed to excel in the evolving field of cybersecurity. GUCS strives to bridge the gap between academia and industry, advocating for the needs of graduate students and facilitating a space where innovation, knowledge-sharing, and leadership thrive.
