Delva Reed-Holmes is a Brooklyn, New York–born author whose work is shaped by lived experience, resilience, and unapologetic truth. Raised by Rosetta and Angela Holmes, Delva grew up navigating the complexities of identity, loyalty, and survival in an environment where strength wasn’t optional—it was learned.

Delva holds a Bachelor’s degree from Fayetteville State University and a degree from Globe Institute of Technology, blending academic foundation with real-world perspective. Influenced by the streets, the mindset of survival of the fittest, and the many personalities encountered along the way, Delva’s writing reflects raw emotion, layered characters, and the unfiltered realities of power, love, and consequence.
