The Frierson Foundation's mission is to collaborate with the Music Departments of elementary, middle, and high schools in Newark, NJ. Our goal is to enhance the training and expression of the following areas:

- Music Theory and Music Fundamentals

- Drama

- Dance (including Mime)

- Vocal and Ear Training

- Sight Reading

- Fundamentals of Playing an Instrument

- Band and Orchestra Training

We aim to support students with artistic interests, gifts, and talents in these disciplines.
